Human greed and desire are boundless. The United States strictly protects the rights and interests of platform employees, explores new antitrust theories applicable to internet platforms to prevent them from infringing on the interests of small and medium-sized businesses, and strengthens the regulation of financial capital. These measures have instead contributed to the sustainable development of U.S. e-commerce platforms. In contrast, China has begun antitrust enforcement against e-commerce platforms, but violations of employee rights and harm to small and medium-sized businesses have not been effectively curbed. These platforms still enjoy substantial government support. Although their scale is expanding rapidly, the marginal effect of wealth creation is diminishing, platform shareholders are reducing their holdings and cashing out, and financial risks continue to rise.
